Snowflake Saltines

I wish I could report that this freight train was filled with Saltine Crackers...alas, the building no longer belongs to the National Biscuit Company, but is a moving and storage facility. I have no idea what the BNSF car is carrying.

Good colorful grunge all around. Works for me!
Patrushka: Thanks, Martin! Glad you like it. The Amtrak Station, the point from which I took the picture, is actually quite clean. Most of the grunge is "on the other side of the tracks."
"Home of SnowFlake Saltines" - wow, that is priceless. These old painted signs were certainly charming. grin
Patrushka: Hello Red! I saw the Saltine building several months ago, but didn't have my camera with me. I just remembered I wanted to take a picture of it before it disappeared. It was hard to find it again, because the front of the building that faces the street had been altered and had a new business in it. There are still some of the old buildings and their painted signs left in Spokane, but they may not be around much longer. I'd better get out and take pictures before the bulldozers arrive...
