A group of folks from Spokane gathered to remember the 82 men and women from Washington who died in Irag since the war began 5 years ago. There was a candle for each person killed in action. The simple event, organized by MoveOn.org, was held in a vacant lot where a "tent city" had been a few months ago. Thirty percent of the tenters were homeless veterans; this site was chosen for the vigil to honor the veterans as well as the fallen troops.
